Is it God’s will to heal …

Our training starts with the biblical basis for healing and His self declaration as Jahovah Rahpe. Then we spend the rest of the evening soaking in the Presence of God to hear what He has for us as we prepare for other aspects of the training.

Healing Prayer training is foundational to what we do at Kzoo Prayer Center but does not include all you need to know to be on a prayer team. Cal Pierce explains that on-the-job training is the best way to step out in faith after the training.

“For the first three hundred years of Christian history, healing prayer was fundamentalπ in the life of the church.” (Francis MacNutt, The Healing Reawakening). Congregants followed the commandment given by James in his epistle to the general church.

                  Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.  Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. James 5:14 NLT

For centuries since, healing ministry has been thwarted leading the church to expect other more “holy” people to conduct healing prayer.  The International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) seeks to reinvigorate Jesus’ ministry through healing prayer training for the church body. The training empowers those who are novices as well as those with a great deal of experience. Participants will see and experience the prayer model used by the IAHR . The next training session is October 23 & 24, 2026.

The course includes the biblical basis for healing, intercession, roadblocks (hindrances) to healing, anointing, spiritual authority, the 5-step prayer model, gifts of the spirit including words of knowledge, and casting a vision for healing today.
